The replacement high school development, constructed and delivered by OHMG, represents a significant investment in modern education infrastructure. Designed as a combination of single and two-storey structures, the new school spans an impressive 9,607m² gross internal floor area. This contemporary facility has been carefully planned to meet diverse educational needs, creating an inspiring and adaptable environment for both students and staff.
The new school will feature dedicated classrooms for a full range of academic subjects, including English, Maths, Languages, Religious Education, Geography, and History. Specialist teaching spaces for Science, Technology, Art & Design, ICT, Music, and Home Economics will also be provided. Each classroom is complemented by technician accommodation and storage areas, ensuring that every learning environment is fully equipped to support modern teaching methods and curriculum requirements.
Beyond academic provision, the school complex includes a series of high-quality sports and recreation spaces, comprising a sports hall, gym hall, and multipurpose hall, each supported by toilets, changing rooms, and shower facilities for pupils and staff. These facilities reflect OHMG’s focus on promoting physical wellbeing, inclusivity, and extracurricular engagement as key components of a balanced education.
The construction programme, managed by OHMG, is structured to ensure efficient and safe delivery. Initial phases prioritise the completion of the new school buildings and associated external works, enabling a smooth transition from the existing facilities. Once relocation is complete, the existing school buildings will be systematically demolished, with OHMG overseeing the final phase of site completion and landscaping — ensuring a fully integrated and operational educational campus.
