Delivered with precision by OHMG, this ambitious project involved the redevelopment and fit-out of a four-storey historic warehouse, transforming it into a state-of-the-art office environment for 150 employees. Situated within a historically significant area, the building’s original façade was carefully preserved, using reclaimed brick and retaining its distinctive sliding sash windows — ensuring the structure’s heritage remained at the heart of its modern renewal.
The project’s early stages demonstrated OHMG’s technical and logistical proficiency, beginning with asbestos removal, followed by targeted demolitions and structural alterations. These foundational works paved the way for the full rejuvenation of the building, balancing sensitivity to heritage with the demands of modern construction.
As part of the transformation, OHMG installed a new lift system, enhancing accessibility while maintaining the building’s architectural integrity. The new windows and doors were meticulously selected to complement the original aesthetic, ensuring a seamless blend of old and new throughout the structure.
Internally, OHMG delivered a comprehensive fit-out, including the installation of new walls, floors, and ceilings that met contemporary standards for safety, comfort, and efficiency. Advanced mechanical and electrical systems — including underfloor heating, air conditioning, and full computer infrastructure — were integrated across all floors to create a high-performance workplace.
This redevelopment stands as a testament to OHMG’s commitment to architectural preservation and modern innovation.
