Senior OHMG staff have given officials from the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust a guided tour of the ongoing development at the new £30m Lisburn Primary Community Care Centre. Construction Director Cathal O’Hare briefed the Trust chairman, Deep Sagar on progress.   Work began in April last year and is due to be completed in April 2021.

The building at Lagan Valley Hospital will have four floors, and the facilities will include accommodation for eight GP practices serving the greater Lisburn area. There will also be 400 car par parking spaces.

Despite poor weather conditions during January and February, work is progressing well.  Cathal O’Hare said:  “We’ve had to contend with a number of heavy storms.  It has been challenging, but Mr. Sagar and his officials were delighted with the way the project is coming along.” OHMG’s Paul Simpson and Colin Michael also assisted with the guided tour.  The Health Trust staff included Shannon Harkness, Kieran Mason, Harry Thompson, Aideen Bryce, and Naomi Dunbar, the Trust’s assistant director of Strategic and Capital Development.
