Overview

The project included the develop and construction of a new DVA Test Centre & Office Accommodation building with all site works including access roads, junction upgrade & significant retention structures due to level changes (approx.17m). The Test Centre (3,942m2) building comprises of vehicle testing & plant zones with a 2 storey administrative block. The Test hall has column free portal frame structure extending to internal height over 10m with automated air quality system. The adjacent building (3,209m2) building includes office accommodation for 170 workstations arranged around a 3 storey open atrium void with vehicle storage area at lower ground level. The development is set to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating assisted by the installation of a vast array of MEP Sustainable initiatives. These include PV arrays, solar panels, passive cooling, SUDS & rain water harvesting.
