OHMG serves as the Design & Build Contractor for the construction of 70 new social housing units at Ravel Drive, Dunleer. This thoughtfully designed development delivers a mix of high-quality homes within a landscaped, well-connected community that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
The project provides a variety of accommodation types — from single-storey sheltered units to two-storey family homes — ensuring a balanced and inclusive community. In addition to the housing, the development includes public open spaces and a dedicated playground, enhancing the area’s liveability and social value.
Delivered using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), including timber frame systems, the scheme achieves programme efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Homes are built in compliance with Irish Building Regulations (BCaR), HPI certification, and Universal Design Guidelines, ensuring durability, safety, and accessibility for all residents.
Sustainability is at the heart of the Ravel Drive development. Through Green Design Initiatives, each home achieves an A2 Building Energy Rating (BER) and meets nZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards.
